ADMISSION CRITERIA
To ensure that the evening in the Studio 21 is an experience and does not end with a fight at the door, the following must be observed: We are a cosmopolitan CLUB and proud that people of all nationalities and cultures come together here. Our staff also comes from a wide variety of nationalities and cultural backgrounds. We do not reject certain nationalities. The Studio 21 thrives on allowing guests to enter. Not rejecting them. However, visitors will be denied entry if they:
- – have not reached the minimum age of 18 years
- – come to the events provided for this purpose from the age of 16 without a supervisor and/or without a transfer of care
- – are in a heavily intoxicated state
- – have obviously consumed illegal narcotics
- – have an unacceptable outfit for the party (generally no tank tops for men, no caps on Saturdays)
- – cause stress to our security staff or indicate potential for stress or violence
Furthermore, the security staff ensures that the mix of visitors is right. This applies in particular to scene-typical events and themed evenings. This is the only way we can realize our claim of multicultural, peaceful communication. For example, it can happen that the same guest is admitted once and not on another day. This is sometimes felt by guests to be unfair, which cannot be avoided entirely. However, this door policy has proven its worth in recent years. We have significantly fewer incidents than other clubs in and around Buxtehude.
It should be noted that the decision of the security guards based on the admission criteria described is made within a few seconds. Since several hundred of these decisions have to be made in the evening, there may be occasional misjudgments when assessing a guest. We very much regret this, but ask for your understanding and, if you are affected, to remain calm and prudent. It might work next time.
Unfortunately, we cannot do a review / discussion of the exact circumstances in the evening. We therefore do not expect our security to give detailed reasons for their decision to rejected guests, which, by the way, they are not legally obliged to do.
We treat our guests with respect and expect the same from our guests.
As a night operation, we reserve the right to carry out ID checks on every guest. We expressly ask our guests to carry a valid identity card with them.
YOUTH PROTECTION
On all Fridays and on selected Tuesdays during the holidays there is a special arrangement to make the Studio 21 accessible to our younger guests aged 16 and over. In these cases, the following must be observed:
Due to the legal situation, it is possible for parents to transfer the duty of care to another person who is at least 18 years old for a visit to the Studio 21 and thus a stay for young people between 16 and 18 years of age in the Studio 21 after midnight make possible.
Please remember that 16 & 17 year old guests must have our special care transfer with them at the entrance! On our homepage you can choose between the following options to generate the required form:
- – Possibility 1: Parents, young people and supervisors are present together and want to sign online together. The form will be shown on the cell phone upon entry.
- – Possibility 2: Parents, young people and supervisors are not present together and would like to be asked by email to sign online. The form will be shown on the cell phone upon entry.
- – Possibility 3: Enter all data on the computer and print out the completed form and have it signed by hand. The form will be handed in on site.
A person over the age of 18 can supervise a maximum of two young people; for organizational reasons, all persons must enter the discotheque by 11:45 p.m. After that, admission with a U18 form can no longer be guaranteed.
